The Challenge

Branch Connectivity Issues: With a vast network of branches, LIC faced significant connectivity challenges, which impacted their operational efficiency. They required a robust solution to establish seamless branch connectivity and ensure security for remote users.
Outdated Infrastructure: LIC’s reliance on a traditional 3-tier model for server and storage management was proving to be complex and inefficient. The organization needed a simplified, sophisticated solution to streamline server, storage, and data virtualization processes.
Unstructured Network: Their existing network switches were unorganized and poorly managed, resulting in unreliable wireless connectivity and suboptimal network performance.

Our Solution:

To address these challenges, Network Techlab implemented a comprehensive suite of advanced digital infrastructure solutions tailored to LIC’s unique requirements:

Enhanced Branch Connectivity: Deployed Palo Alto’s Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solution, integrated with Next-Generation Firewalls, to ensure secure and reliable connectivity for 35 LIC’s branches. For branches with fewer users, Palo Alto’s Prism solution was implemented to strengthen remote user security and connection to server while maintaining seamless operations.
Modernized Infrastructure: Replaced LIC’s traditional 3-tier model with Nutanix Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI), simplifying server and storage management while enhancing operational efficiency. Enabled centralized data management and consolidated reporting to provide better insights and improved decision-making.
Structured Network Connectivity: Upgraded LIC’s outdated and unorganized network switches with modern, high-performance switches. Improved wireless network flow and structure, ensuring consistent and reliable connectivity across all branches.
